Chronic intermittent diarrhea and chronic upper respiratory infection. BCS 3.5/9. Palpable slowly growing mass effect on left side caudal abdomen, freely moveable, not easily seen on abdominal radiographs. Currently on Azithromycin 50 mg PO Q 72 hours.

Invasive Right Adrenal Mass in a 13-year-old, FS, DSH cat

Chronic loose stool, one pound weight loss in the last year, 2/6 heart murmur. Fecal with giardia – all negative. Not on an any medication. Labwork WNL.

Stricturing colonic mass with minor intestinal thickening elsewhere in a 14 year old MN DSH cat

A 14-year-old MN DSH cat was presented for evaluation of chronic diarrhea and weight loss. Abnormalities on CBC and serum biochemistry were mild anemia, elevated liver enzymes (AST 184, ALT 163) and mild hyperglycemia.

Swollen kidneys and splenozaygos shunt in a 6yr old, FS, DSH.

A 6-year-old FS DSH with a history of a long-term liver shunt that was maintained on occasional metronidazole and subcutaneous fluids was presented for evaluation of weight loss, hyporexia, and vomiting. CBC was within normal limits whereas serum biochemistry showed mildly elevated ALT activity, normal creatinine, and low urea.

Splenic nodule in a 17 yr old, FS, DSH

A 17-year-old SF DSH was presented for evaluation of weight loss, reduced appetite, lethargy, and pain. Current therapy was methimazole and gabapentin. On survey radiographs, a ureterolith was evident.

Severe renal dysplasia in a 5 month old, FS, Dogo Argentino

A 5-month-old SF Dogo Argentino was presented for evaluation of PU/PD, weight loss, and recent onset vomiting. Abnormalities on CBC and serum biochemistry were mild anemia, severe azotemia (BUN 256, creatinine 9.4) and severely elevated inorganic phosphate (20.8). Urine culture was negative.

Bladder mass and adrenal nodule in a 15yr old, MN Australian cattle dog

A 15-year-old MN Australian Cattle dog was presented for evaluation of hematuria and weight loss. Urinalysis showed SG of 1.012, proteinuria, and hematuria. The only abnormality on serum biochemistry was mildly elevated ALP (174) activity. On survey radiographs, a soft tissue calcified opacity within the urinary bladder was evident.
