Renal carcinoma vs lymphoma with pleural effusion and hepatic nodules suspicious of metastases in a 14 year old FS DSH cat

A 14-year-old FS DSH with a history of hyperthyroidism that had been well regulated with the Y/D diet was presented for evaluation weight loss, lethargy, decreased appetite, and intermittent constipation. On physical examination, right-sided renomegaly was present. Serum biochemistry showed elevated BUN (54) and hypercalcemia (3.8).

Right Auricular mass with pericardial effusion and tamponade in a 12 year old MN Dachshund dog

A 12-year-old MN Dachshund was presented for evaluation of abdominal distension that had been noticed after grooming. Additional history was that after grooming anorexia and vomiting had developed.  Abnormalities CBC and serum biochemistry were leukocytosis and mildly elevated ALT activity (239).  Survey radiographs showed cardiomegaly, pulmonary edema, pleural effusion, and splenomegaly. 

Left ureteral mass with hydronephrosis and hydroureter in a 11 year old MN German Shepherd dog with suspected neoplasia

An 11-year-old MN German shepherd cross was presented for evaluation of acute onset hematuria and anorexia. Additional history was weight loss over a 4-week period. Urinalysis showed SG of 1.030, 3+ blood, and 4+ protein. Mild hyperglobulinemia (4.2) and elevated creatinine was present on serum biochemistry. Survey radiographs were normal. 

RAD – US – Suspected lymphoma supported by FNA/tele cytology in a 8 year old MN Labrador Retriever dog

History: An 8-year-old NM Labrador Mix with a history of being on Rimadyl for 6 months was presented for evaluation of intermittent vomiting, inappetence, and lethargy for a week.
