A 6-year-old FS Doberman Pinscher was presented for partial anorexia. Physical examination was normal. CBC and blood chemistry analysis revealed moderate neutrophilia and left shift, stable mildly elevated SAP, and a rising moderately elevated ALT. Urinalysis was normal.
Biliary adenocarcinoma in a 13 year old MN DSH cat
A 13-year-old MN DSH presented for mild anorexia and weight loss. CBC and blood chemistry profile revealed mildly elevated SAP and mildly elevated ALT.
Hepatic cyst in a 16 year old FS DSH cat
A 16-year-old FS DSH cat with a long history of hyperthyroidism presented for progressive weight loss, vomiting, partial anorexia, and abdominal distension. Physical examination confirmed these findings and revealed a low body condition score. Blood chemistry profile revealed only a mildly elevated ALT with mildly prolonged PT and mildly prolonged aPTT on the coagulation profile.
Plasma cell neoplasia and hepatic lipidosis
A 9-year-old MN DSH presented with anorexia and weight loss. Physical examination revealed poor body condition and mild dehydration. Moderately elevated SAP and mildly elevated ALT and mildly elevated AST were revealed on blood chemistry analysis.
Hepatic vacuolar changes, lipidosis, and cell necrosis in a 10 year old FS DSH cat
This 10 year old FS DLH cat presented for lethargy and anorexia. Physical examination revealed mild dehydration, poor coat quality, and mild jaundice. Blood analysis revealed moderately elevated SAP and moderately elevated total bilirubin.
