Pancreatic cyst or abscess. This appears resectable with left pancreatic lobectomy.
Enlarged spleen. Potential neoplasia or reactive spleen/splenitis. Ultrasound-guided FNA is recommended.
The pancreas in this patient was irregular in contour, with mild enlargement at 1.03 cm with a dilated duct that measured 0.32 cm. The caudal aspect of the left pancreatic limb revealed a 2.0 x 1.0 cm cyst or possible abscess. This appears resectable with left lobectomy. Ultrasound-guided drainage could also be considered. Minor inflammatory pattern was noted around the pancreatic cyst. Therefore, this may be suppurative. Minor suspended echoes were noted.
The spleen was slightly enlarged, potentially reactive and measured 1.5 cm. Ultrasound-guided FNA is warranted.
