This 10 year old FS Labrador Retriever dog presented with a history of anorexia and panting. Elevated LE; possible hepatic mass

Thoracic mass in a 9 year old FS Boxer

A 9-year-old FS Boxer dog was presented for evaluation of of weight loss and decreased appetite. Physical Exam was normal.  Urinalysis showed normal SG, proteinuria, and hematuria. The only abnormality on serum biochemistry was low-normal albumin (2.6). Survey thoracic radiographs showed a globoid-appearing heart and generalized loss of detail within the thorax. 

RAD – Diffuse infiltrative hepatopathy in a 6 year old MN Labrador Retriever mix

This 6 year old MN Labrador mix dog resented with intermittent vomiting (bile) and inappetance for 5 days. Listless, depressed, polydipsia per owner. Sneezing for 3 days. Physical exam: obese, heavy tartar, stiffness/trouble getting up. CBC/Chem wnl

Lymphangectasia presentation with likely protein-losing enteropathy (PLE) in a 4 year old M Rottweiler dog

A 4-year-old intact male Rottweiler that was recently adopted was presented for evaluation of anorexia, intermittent vomiting, diarrhea, and coughing. Physical examination showed poor condition and muscle wasting. Survey radiographs showed poor serosal detail and a AFAST scan revealed free fluid within the abdomen. 

Inflamed gall bladder mucocele and cholangiohepatitis in a 12 year old FS Beagle dog

A 12½-year-old FS Beagle was presented for evaluation of vomiting, lethargy, and anorexia. On physical examination, painful cranial abdomen was present. Abnormalities on CBC and serum biochemistry were neutrophilia, monocytosis, low BUN (8.8), hyperphosphatemia (5), and severely elevated ALT (1000), ALP (993) and GGT (44) activity.
