CT – Discospondylitis with vertebral canal stenosis and possible related ocular disorder in a 6 year old MN German Shepherd dog

This 6 year old MN German Shepherd dog was diagnosed with hyphema, glaucoma and ocular trauma OD 3 week prior. Presented 2 days ago for ataxia and disorientation; CP deficits noted pelvic limbs.  Chem: pre-renal azotemia.

CT – Retrobulbar mass with compression of left ocular bulb in a 9 year old M Rottweiler

This 9 year old intact M Rottweiler mix has a 3-4 month history of left eye erythema and inflammation. Ophthalmologist report: exophthalmia, elevation of 3rd eyelid, 3+ conjunctival episcleral hyperemia, clear anterior chamber, fundic exam showed retrobulbar scleral indentation, non visual, optic nerve atropied, no pain palpated.   

Retrobulbar mass in a 7 year old MN DSH cat

This 7 year old MN DSH cat presented with sudden onset buphthalmos, limbic injection. Physical exam: IOP-  OD 25,27; OS 30,31

This 10 year old Basset Hound dog has a history of lymphoma diagnosed 6 months ago. Has been treated with chemotherapy. Presented with nasal discharge, eye discharge with corneal irritation and cloudiness, pain on opening of the mouth.

CT – Malignant expansile nasal soft tissue neoplasia with osteolysis, rhinitis and sinusitis in a 15 year old Shetland Sheepdog

This 15 year old FS Shetland Sheepdog presented for progressively worsening bilateral epistaxis and exophthalmos in the right eye

This FS dog has a history of temperal Muscle Atrophy, Left eye enophthalmus, sneezing Physical Exam: otherwise wnl CBC/Chem wnl

CT – Retrobulbar abscess with circumferential septic cellulitis in an intact F canine hunting dog

This intact female dog presented with a 4-day history of progressive 3rd eyelid prolapse and exophthalmus. A purulent draining tract was noted/lanced in the mouth (also left side), but severity has worsened significantly instead of improving since that was drained by rDVM. Patient is a hunting dog. CBC/Chem wnl

CT – Malignant soft tissue neoplasia with secondary osteolysis of the maxillary, zygomatic, nasal, orbital and palatinal bones in a 8 year old MN Canine

The patient is a 8 year old MN canine presented for a dental cleaning. During the procedure a mass was noted on the right maxilla extending past the dental arcade medially. Right eye bupthalmia.
