A 6-year-old FS Boxer was presented for evaluation of a 2-week duraton of progressive inappetence to complete anorexia, weight loss, vomiting and diarrhea. Hypoproteinemia was presented on serum biochemistry and survey radiographs showed a suspicious region of intestinal thickening and gas pocketing.
Distal small intestinal mass with obstructive pattern in a 14 year old MN Golden Retriever
This 14 year old MN Golden Retriever dog has a history of diarrhea and weight loss for the past 8 months. Multiple fecals negative.
CT – nasal neoplasia with bone destruction, lymphadenopathy and sinusitis in a 15 year old FS cat
This 15 year old FS DSH cat has a history of right sided sarcoma from 2011. Presented with nasal/ocular discharge and weight loss.
Thoracic mass in a 9 year old FS Boxer
A 9-year-old FS Boxer dog was presented for evaluation of of weight loss and decreased appetite. Physical Exam was normal. Urinalysis showed normal SG, proteinuria, and hematuria. The only abnormality on serum biochemistry was low-normal albumin (2.6). Survey thoracic radiographs showed a globoid-appearing heart and generalized loss of detail within the thorax.
Multifocal diffuse neoplastic infiltrate, likely round cell, involving spleen, pancreas, liver, small intestine and lymph nodes in a 14 year old MN DSH cat
This 14 year old cat presented with weight loss. Physical exam: alveolitis at both upper canines, unthrifty, incteris CBC/Chem: ALT 630, AST 209, ALP 315, bilirubin 8.9

Right -sided heart failure with ventricular thrombus and passive liver congestion pattern in a 4 year old MN ferret
This 4 year old MN ferret presented with weight loss, vomiting, diarrhea and concern for diaphragmatic hernia. Initial rads soft tissue opacity between heart and diaphragm on lateral. Repeat rads revealed caudal aspect of heart touching diaphragm, no obvious soft tissue opacity there. Cardiac silhouette abnormal on all films.
Renal carcinoma vs lymphoma with pleural effusion and hepatic nodules suspicious of metastases in a 14 year old FS DSH cat
A 14-year-old FS DSH with a history of hyperthyroidism that had been well regulated with the Y/D diet was presented for evaluation weight loss, lethargy, decreased appetite, and intermittent constipation. On physical examination, right-sided renomegaly was present. Serum biochemistry showed elevated BUN (54) and hypercalcemia (3.8).
