Left ureteral mass with hydronephrosis and hydroureter in a 11 year old MN German Shepherd dog with suspected neoplasia
An 11-year-old MN German shepherd cross was presented for evaluation of acute onset hematuria and anorexia. Additional history was weight loss over a 4-week period. Urinalysis showed SG of 1.030, 3+ blood, and 4+ protein. Mild hyperglobulinemia (4.2) and elevated creatinine was present on serum biochemistry. Survey radiographs were normal.

CYT – Histiocytic sarcoma diagnosed by FNA of lung mass with separate pericardial diaphragmatic hernia in a 6 year old MN Mastiff dog
This 6 year old MN Bullmastiff dog presented with a history of weight loss and coughing. Thoracic radiographs indicate thoracic mass.
US and CYT – Multiple myeloma diagnosed by splenic FNA/cytology in an 8 year old MN DSH cat with hyperglobulinemia
An 8-year-old NM DSH with a history of azotemia was presented for evaluation. Abnormalities on serum biochemistry were azotemia (BUN 58, creatinine 3.4), hyperproteinemia (22.8), hypoalbuminemia (1.9), and severe hyperglobulinemia (20.9).
RAD – mediastinal lymphadenomegaly, lobar interstitial infiltrate likely round cell neoplasia in a 12 year old FS Flat Coated Retriever dog
This 12 year old FS Flat Coated Retriever dog presente with vomiting of 3 month duration with a 5 day history of coughing. Weight loss 12 pounds (15% body weight) over 3 months.
