Bladder wall thickening in a 6 year old FI Pit Bull Terrier

A 6-year-old intact female Pit Bull Terrier dog was presented for evaluation of a palpable bladder tumor, hematuria, and stranguria. Urinalysis showed inappropriate SG (1.022), hematuria, and pyuria. On survey radiographs a soft tissue opacity was evident in the region of the urinary bladder.

A 15-year-old MN dog was presented for persistent hematuria. On physical examination a cardiac murmur was present. The only abnormality on urinalysis was an inappropriate specific gravity. Elevated ALP activity was present on serum biochemistry. LDDST and blood pressure were both within normal limits.

Gall bladder mucocele and cholecystitis in a 12 year old FS Beagle dog
