ORTHO – Normal shoulder musculature and rotator cuff in a 14 year old FS Yorkshire Terrier with forelimb lameness

This 14 year old FS Yorkshire Terrier has a history of chronic forelimb lameness of over one year duration. No known associated trauma. Bilateral elbow abduction. Right shoulder non-specific pain on ROM. Bilateral mild pelvic limb and right peri-scapular atrophy.

Pyloric mural thickening with regional lymphadenopathy in a 15 year old FS DSH cat

A 15-year-old FS DSH cat was presented for evaluation of lethargy, increased vomiting, and possible abdominal discomfort.  On a previous ultrasound, GI lymphoma had been suspected.  Abnormalities on physical examination were muscle wasting along spine and a pot-bellied appearance. Both fPL and T4 were elevated.

Acute on chronic pancreatitis with bilateral pyelectasia and IBD in a 12 year old FS DSH cat

This 6 year old MN Belgian Shepherd dog has a history of intermittent lameness of over 1 year duration. Worsens with exercise.  Decreased muscle mass right hind. Positive cranial drawer sign and CTT, moderate medial buttress sign. Evaluate right stifle prior to TTA stabilization

ORTHO- normal shoulder musculature and tendons in a 7 year old MN Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with lameness

This 7 year old MN Cavalier King Charles Spaniel presented for evaluation of a chronic intermittent forelimb lameness of about one year’s duration. The onset of lameness was not associated with any known trauma. The lameness has become more consistent and the dog will externally rotate his right forelimb while standing and seated. 

ORTHO – normal shoulder musculature and tendons in a 2 year old FS Shetland Sheepdog with lameness

This 2 year old FS Shetland Sheepdog has a history of right ulnar osteotomy and corrective radial dome osteotomy 6 months previously. 
Previous conservative management of a right proximal diaphsyseal radius/ulna fracture sustained one year ago. Malunion resulting in caudal bowing of the bones.

ORTHO – Chronic partial avulsion rupture of the patellar ligament, pre and post surgical repair, in a 9 month old German Wirehaired Pointer dog with a history of traumatic injury

This 9 month old M intact German Wirehaired Pointer dog presented with left hind lameness of several months duration. Suspect traumatic injury to patellar ligament.
