CT – Malignant oral melanoma of the soft palate and lymphadenomegaly in a 9 year old FS Skipperke mix
This 9 year old FS Skipperke mix dog presented with an oral mass when intubated for dental prophy. Appears to involve the hard and soft palates. FNA melanoma, need to stage to decide on surgical removal vs debulking
CT – Left adrenal mass with extensive vascular invasion in a 13 year old FS Poodle
This 13 year old F Poodle dog was diagnosed via ultrasound with a left adrenal mass and possible a right. Presented for weakness and trembling.
CYT – Reactive lymph node with supperative lymphadenitis in a 12 year old FS DSH cat
This 12 year old FS DSH cat has a history of weight loss and vomiting, and presented with a large mid-abdominal mass
RAD – Negative metastases check with mild sternal lymph node enlargement in a 8 year old FS Boxer dog with diagnosed cutaneous large cell lymphoma
This 8 year old FS Boxer presented for pustules and a welt which over the course of 2 weeks increased in number. FNA/cytology of 2 of the nodules showed large cell lymphoma
RAD – Pulmonary metastatic and chronic airway disease in a 10 year old MN mixed dog
This 10 year old MN mixed dog was found abandoned and presented with muffled heart sounds, grade 2/6 left systolic murmur, intermittent irregular arrythmia. Physical exam: dehydrated, severe dental disease, intermittent left front lameness, severe hindlimb weakness, underweight, several large SQ masses with one ulcerated and necrotic. HCT 32%, hookworms.
CT – Mandibular soft tissue neoplasia biopsied as squamous cell carcinoma wth aggressive osteolysis in a 10 year old FS Golden Retriever
This 10 yeaer old FS golden Retriever dog presented for a right sided mandibular mass that had quickly increased in size over 2-3 weeks; biopsy results squamous cell carcinomal. CT needed for metastases check to lymph nodes and surgical planning
RAD – Pre-surgical metastases thoracic check negative in a 8 year old FS Goldendoodle with a digital mass
This 8 year old FS Goldendoodle dog presented with a digital mass of approximately 6 months duration. Today is a metastses check prior to digital amputation.
CT – Thymoma with good prognosis for surgical resection in a 11 year old F Pitbull dog
This 11 year old F Pitbull dog was diagnosed with a thymoma one year ago. Occasional coughing.
RAD – Mild left-sided cardiomegaly likely from mitral regurgitation without congestive heart failure (CHF) and no evidence of metastases in an intact 7 year old F Scottish Terrier dog
This 7 year old intact F Scottis Terrier dog presented for on and off hematuria for weeks, 1/6 systolic murmur, 2 small firm mammary nodules, heavy tartar/gingivitis. Please comment on L3 vertebrae.
US and CYT- Likely splenic and liver carcinoma with supporting FNA/cytology in a 9 year old FS dog
This 9 year old FS dog presented with a one month history of weight loss, ADR. Splenic sample submitted for telecytology too. Physical Exam: Thin, palpable abdominal left sided mass CBC/Chem: ALT 170
