Pancreatic necrosis in a 10 year old MN Husky
A 10-year-old NM Husky was presented for evaluation of acute onset weakness and abdominal pain after getting into garbage with pork remains overnight. Physical examination revealed hemorrhagic diarrhea, few bouts of vomiting, and pyrexia. Abnormalities on CBC and serum biochemistry were monocytosis, azotemia, bilirubinemia, and elevated proteins.

Possible intestinal foreign body, lethargy, weakness. Panting on presentation. Current meds: Cerenia, Unasyn, IVF, Barium series started at 5pm. CBC and blood chemistry from 2/15 showed: WBC 22.57, Neu 18.66, HGB 11.4, PLT 128,. Na 144, ALT 440, ALP 379, GGT 12. In house u/a- USG 1.062, 2wbc/hpf, no bacteria, crystals unclassified 1-5/hpf. ORTHO – Partial rupture of the left cranial cruciate ligament with DJD in a 12 year old FS German Shepherd dog
This 12 year old German Shepherd dog had surgery for compressive disc disese 3 months prior. Presented today with persistent weakness left hind limb, weak CP reflexes, increased stifle effusion and mild thickening, negative drawer.
CT – Prominent iliac lymph node, otherwise normal CT screening in a 2 year old MN Belgian Malinois with weight loss and episodic fever
This 2 year old MN Belgian Malinois has a history of episodes of fever, lethargy, weakness in the legs and some seizure-like activity. Wt loss. There is a mild protrusion of the right eye globe with decreased retropulsion and mild prolapse of the third eyelid.

The patient is a 9 year old FS Pitbull with a 3 day history of lethargy and decreased appetite. Has not eaten in 24 hours, decreased water intake.
