This 10 year old FS Yorkshire Terrier presented with cervical and back pain. GI issues.

RAD – Chronic otitis and possible hyperparathyroidism and in a 12 year old FS DSH cat

This 12 year old FS DSH cat presented with painful mouth and anorexia of 3 days duration (full mouth extractions 2 years ago). R/O upper trachea mass.

Left renal mass or abscess in a 9 year old MN Corgi dog with vomiting and abdominal pain

A 9-year-old MN Corgi that had shown vomiting and left-sided abdominal pain was presented for evaluation of a firm and sensitive area on the left side of the abdomen. Survey radiographs showed an abnormal appearing density on the left side. 

CT – moderate hip dysplasia and osteoarthritis with severe cartilage damage in a 9 year old FS dog

This 9 year old FS canine mix presented with a history of difficulty walking and painful in her hind end. Rads were taken and an osteoarthritis was noted in her left hip. She began taking Tramadol and Rimadyl. She was seen for a follow-up pne month later and radsshowed changes in the left femoral head….

CT – Chonic bilateral biceps tendovaginitis with osteoarthritis of the shoulder joints in a 11 year old MN Border Collie dog

This 11 year old MN Border Collie dog presented with lameness of the right front and “wobbliness” of 24 hour duration. CBC/Chem wnl. Physical exam – cervical myelopathy (C3-4 disc surgery today) and pain on right shoulder flexion. Post-op CT to determine cause of right shoulder pain.

CT – chronic protrusion of the cervical 3/4 disc with mild compressive myelopathy in a 5 year old MN Eskimo Spitz dog

This 4.5 year old MN Eskimo Spitz dog was presented with chronic neck pain and lumbosacral pain. Previous episodes of tetraparesis(resolved); 1 week history of left cp deficits.  

CT – Unspecific unilateral chronic, mildly destructive rhinitis with secondary frontal sinusitis in a dog

This Labrador mix dog presented with shifting leg lameness of 3 weeks duration,moderately responsive to pain medications. Unilateral nasal bleeding post NSAIDs,(also post trauma)  has progressed to constant blood dripping from left nares.  Physical exam: overweight, left nares bleeding, grade 2/4 lameness right front  CBC/Chem: HCT 34%, non-regenerative, PLT 69,000, PT/PTT elevated prior to startng…

This 3 year old MN Australian Shepherd mix dog presented for apparent pain of 2 months duration. Cries out with sudden movement, ambulates with head parallel to spine. Lays down while eating.  Physical exam: Hopping and CPs normal. No palpable pain

CT – normal brain and ventricular system in a 7 year old FS Shih Tzu dog with seizures

 This 7 year old FS ShihTzu dog presented to RDVM a couple of weeks ago for apparent severe neck pain.  This morning started having seizure-like activity, circling, horizontal nystagmus,  progressing to alligator rolling with rapid horiz. nystagmus. Uterine Lymphoma in a 1-year-old FS Border Collie: Our April Case Of the Month 2016

The patient was presented for straining to defecate x 5 days, a poor appetite, recent vomiting, and possible hematuria. During physical exam a recal stricture was palpated. Blood was noted in the vulva. The patient was treated with Baytril, Cerenia, and IV fluids pending sonographic evaluation.
