cavitated lesions in liver lobe

cavitated lesions in liver lobe

This dog is a long-term diabetic who was diagnosed with pneumonia and seems to be recovering from that. However she has this going on in her liver. She has moderately elevated liver enzymes.

recurrent hematuria, negative culture, 3 year old FS dog

This 3 year old lab mix FS dog was treated for her first episode of hematuria and pollakiuria 12/9/19. USG 1.033, pH 8.5, 3+ blood in urine, sediment was not examined. She was given 10 days of Amoxi-Clav and seemed to respond.  On 1/17/20 the owner reported the symptoms reoccured, and Amoxi-Clav was dispensed for…

inflammation around kidneys, mass?

This cat has weight loss and skin lesions which are suspicious for a paraneoplastic syndrome.  There is inflammation in the area of the right kidney, and the left kidney is irregular with a hypoechoic area in the cortex. I am suspicious of carcinomatosis; any comment? Thank you

kidney- pelvic dilation and/or dilated ureter?

I think I am seeing a dilated renal pelvis and a dilateted ureter exiting the kidney. Am I totally off base here? She has small mineral densities on her lateral abdominal radiograph that I think are in the position of ureteral stones. Thanks

IBD ?

These images are from a 15 (about) year old cat belonging to a shelter. He has intermittent diarrhea and vomiting. He has early renal disease with BUN/creat 49/2.1 and isosthenuria. Am I seeing an IBD type of pattern here? The remainder of the scan seemed normal.

uterus?

This is a 22 month old intact female Golden owned by a breeder. She had a normal heat 2 months ago but began spotting frank blood from the vulva several days ago. The vulva is not swollen. Her temp is 104.3, blood work is all normal. Mostly I am just wondering if this is, in…

cardiomyopathy

This is a 15 year old male neutered cat, he had 200 ml fluid tapped off his chest last week elsewhere, and 300 tapped off today. Can anyone give me any guidance based on these clips and rads? Specifically I am wondering is this cat is a candidate for Pimo. Unfortunately the owner is declining…

perirenal abscess versus mass

This kidney is surrounded by abnormal tissue and fluid. I hope to be able to aspirate it, and if so, I would like some pointers as to how to approach it (go through retroperitoneal space? or just wherever I can get it close to the skin?) And, if I manage to aspirate something that looks…
