Factors affecting heart position
Hi! I’m scheduled to echo on an obese (40lb) King Charles Spaniel next week… new heart murmur, looking for MVD. Just curious… if L sided heart enlargement rotates the heart in a certain direction, how does being extremely overweight change the heart position? Dorsally perhaps? And do CKCS do LA enlargement differently? I vaguely recall…
