A 10-year-old intact female Standard poodle was presented for vomiting, which had not improved with symptomatic therapy. On abdominal palpation, a large firm abdominal mass was present.

A 14-year-old female spayed Pug with a history of thyroid carcinoma was presented for evaluation of a large mass that extended from her right ear to the thoracic inlet. 

Mast Cell Disease

The patient was presented for weight loss, occasional vomiting, not herself, lethargic. CBC revealed mild anemia and elevated thyroid values. Clinical exam revealed a palpable intestinal mass and poor body condition.

Splenic hematoma in a 11 year old MN Rhodesian Ridgeback dog

An 11 year old, MN, Rhodesian Ridgeback dog was presented for nonspecific symptoms (ADR). Abdominal mass was palpated. The dog had a subnormal temp (98.8) and pale mucus membranes. Altered CBC/Chem/UA values included leukocytosis, mild azotemia, and mild hypoglobulinemia. Radiographs demonstrated a mass effect in the right abdomen.

The patient is an 8 year old, FS, canine French bulldog. Clinical exam findings: vomiting, anorexia for 4 days. Possible mass effect. Barium study performed, normal and non-diagnostic.

The patient is a 10 year old FS Saint Bernard canine. The patient presented for an annual exam but a mass was palpated in abdomen. The owner noted that the patient may be slightly lethargic but it was difficult to tell if this was an aging change. Otherwise the physical exam was within normal limits….
