Pancreatic Abscess in a 13-year-old, MN, Maine Coon Cat
Anorexic, vomiting one day prior, lethargic. PE: Firm mass palpated mid abdomen cranial to bladder. Seems uncomfortable on palpation. Given Cerenia, Convenia, Buprenorphine. Radiographs: 3-view rads showed circular mid-abdominal mass with soft tissue opacity. Both kidneys visualized independently from the mass. Loss of serosal detail cranial/ventral abdomen (effusion?)
Right Adrenal Mass in a 12-Year-Old, MN, DSH Cat
Chronic intermittent diarrhea and chronic upper respiratory infection. BCS 3.5/9. Palpable slowly growing mass effect on left side caudal abdomen, freely moveable, not easily seen on abdominal radiographs. Currently on Azithromycin 50 mg PO Q 72 hours.
CT – Mast Cell with metastatic spread to right inguinal lymph nodes and tributaries in a 8 year ol FS German Short Haired Pointer
This 8 year old FS German Wirehaired Pointer presented for surgical evaluation of a soft tissue mass on the the trunk (enlarged iguinal lymph node). Cytology showed reactive lymphoid population with metastatic round cell neoplasm, likely poorly differentiated mast cell tumor.
Abdominal Mesenteric Abscess in a 14 year old MN Lab
This 14 year old MN Labrador dog has a history of change in abdominal size and shape with inappropriate urine leaking. A large abdominal mass was palpated on physical exam.
Anal gland mass with lymphadenopathy, likely adenocarcinoma in a 8 year old MN Siberian Husky
An 8-year-old MN Husky was presented for evaluation of a palpable right anal gland mass. Abnormalities on serum biochemistry were hypercalcemia (total and ionized) and elevated BUN (32).

A 12-year-old NM DLH was presented for evaluation of one-month duration of hiding in strange places, inappropriate urination, and PuPD. On physical examination, an abdominal mass near the cranial pole of the left kidney and grade 2/6 left parasternal systolic heart murmur were present.
