A 7 year old, neutered male feline was presented for anorexia, lethargy, decreased frequency of defecation with no dyschesia. Hospitalized on fluids with no improvement. Altered CBC values: Lymphocyte 510. FeLV/FIV both negative. UA specific gravity 1.056 otherwise NSF. Spec fPL 0.7 Chem was wnl. 

RADS – Disturbed Intestinal Motility Pattern with Functional Ileus in a 3 year old MN DSH cat

Presenting Clinical Signs:  lethargy, inappetance, fleas.  Physical Exam: EENT – squinting, yellowish nasal discharge; saline in nose does not make him sneeze PLN – normal HL – clear –  Abdomen – fluid, diarrhea greenish mucoid despite all meds (metronidazole, propectalin); possible long item in bowel palpated dorsally.   URTI, Diarrhea,  Anemia, Weight loss, Anorexia
