Chronic intermittent diarrhea and chronic upper respiratory infection. BCS 3.5/9. Palpable slowly growing mass effect on left side caudal abdomen, freely moveable, not easily seen on abdominal radiographs. Currently on Azithromycin 50 mg PO Q 72 hours.
Gallbladder mucocele rupture in an 8 yr old, FS Sheltie.
An 8-year-old FS Sheltie was presented for evaluation of vomiting and diarrhea over a 1-2 week period and recent onset acute abdomen. Medications: metronidazole 250mg BID, clavamox 125mg BID Radiograph Findings: no obvious obstructive pattern but, material in stomach.
Stricturing colonic mass with minor intestinal thickening elsewhere in a 14 year old MN DSH cat
A 14-year-old MN DSH cat was presented for evaluation of chronic diarrhea and weight loss. Abnormalities on CBC and serum biochemistry were mild anemia, elevated liver enzymes (AST 184, ALT 163) and mild hyperglycemia.
Emphysematous hepatitis in a 10yr old, FS Australian Shepherd
A 10-year-old FS Australian Shepherd was presented for evaluation of acute hematemesis, vomiting, diarrhea, and lethargy. Abnormalities on physical examination were lateral recumbence, dehydration, and pyrexia (106.8). Blood work showed thrombocytopenia and elevated ALT (655) activity. On survey radiographs possible mass in mid abdomen and hepatomegaly was evident.
Pancreatic necrosis in a 10 yrs old MN mixed breed dog
A 10-year-old NM mixed dog breed was presented for evaluation of acute onset vomiting, anorexia, and hemorrhagic diarrhea. Additional history was that the signs had started shortly after a camping trip.

A 5-year-old MN DSH with a history of portosystemic shunt that had been diagnosed 3 years ago and was doing well with medical management was presented for evaluation of hyporexia and diarrhea over the last month. Elevated ALT was present on serum biochemistry.
