An 8-year-old MN DSH cat with a history of a palpable abdominal mass and anorexia, was presented for evaluation. CBC was within normal limits whereas on serum chemistry hypercholesterolemia (414) and hyperamylasemia (1327) was present. Survey abdominal radiographs showed a large opacity in the cranial abdomen.
Lymphoma in a 4 year old MN DSH cat
A 4-year-old MN DSH cat was presented for anorexia, and vomiting. On physical examination an abdominal mass was palpable. On survey radiographs a radiopaque structure in the cranial abdomen was evident. Abnormalities on CBC and serum chemistry were neutrophilia, lymphopenia, and hypercalcemia.

Annular small intestinal mass in an 11 year old FS DSH cat
An 11-year-old FS DSH cat was presented for the evaluation of clinical signs consistent with upper respiratory disease. An abdominal mass was identified on abdominal palpation. A neutrophilia, lymphopenia, eosinopenia and thrombocytopenia were present on the CBC. Hyperglobulinemia and hyperproteinemia were present on the blood chemistry.
Lymphoma in a 16 year old FS DLH cat
16-year-old FS DLH cat was presented for weight loss. A mass was found on abdominal palpation. A CBC revealed a marked leukocytosis, thrombocytosis and a decreased hematocrit.

A 12-year-old MN Golden Retriever dog was presented for the evaluation of anorexia and weight loss (18% weight loss within a two week period.) On physical examination, a large mass was palpated in the abdomen. No abnormalities were noted on the CBC, but the serum biochemical profile showed hypocalcemia, decreased CK, and decreased magnesium.

11 year old MN Pit-bull was presented with clinical signs of colitis of several months’ duration which had been controlled with anti-inflammatory dosages of prednisone. An abdominal mass was palpated on physical exam. The CBC was within normal limits. A mild elevation of the ALP enzyme activity was present on the serum biochemical profile.
