06-00239 Precious T Obstructive ureteroliths, cystic calculi——-NEED CDX——

A 5 year-old FS Shih Tzu was presented for intermittent vomiting one week duration, inappetance, elevated white blood cell count, two radiopaque marble size structures noted on abdominal radiographs suspected to be nephroliths or intestinal foreign body.

The Value of a Negative Sonogram

The patient was presented due to persistent vomiting for 3 weeks. Physical examination found the patient 5% dehydrtated. Blood chemistry found a high BUN of 94 and high creatinine of 3.2. USG was 1.032 (in the face of 5% dehydration).

Renal mass in a 10 year old MN DSH cat

A 10-year-old NM DSH was presented for evaluation of acute onset vomiting, vocalizing, and abdominal pain. On survey radiographs, a  possible mass or left renomegaly was evident. Blood work was unremarkable. Prior to the ultrasound, the patient developed pyrexia.

A 10-year-old NM DSH was presented for evaluation of intermittent vomiting and weight loss. On abdominal radiographs a slight accordion pattern was present.

An 11-year-old SF Maltese with a history of elevated ALT activity and vomiting was presented for evaluation of vomiting after eating ham. Abnormalities on serum biochemistry were elevated ALT activity (>1000), CPL, and lipase.

Multicentric lymphosarcoma in a 4 year old MN English Bulldog

A 4-year-old male neutered English Bulldog was presented for evaluation of anorexia and vomiting. Elevated liver enzyme activity was present on serum biochemistry.

Gastric Foreign Body in a 2 year old MN Labrador Retriever dog

A 2½-year-old MN Labrador was presented for evaluation of one episode of vomiting and a distended abdomen. Abnormalities on physical examination were abdominal distension and tachycardia. CBC was within reference range; whereas low BUN, hypokalemia, and hypochloridemia were present on serum biochemistry. 4dx was negative.

Pyloric mass in a 10-year-old FS Poodle

A 10-year-old FS poodle with history of decreased appetite was presented for weight loss and vomiting. Bloodwork was unremarkable.
