A 3-year-old SF Yorkshire terrier was presented for evaluation of lethargy, anorexia, and intermittent polydipsia. The only abnormality on urinalysis was low SG (1.018). CBC was within reference range. Abnormalities on serum biochemistry were low BUN and severely elevated ALT activity (>1000).

A 9-year-old SF Shepherd Mix with a history of pancreatitis was presented for evaluation of occasional vomiting, polydipsia. Physical examination was unremarkable. On urinalysis the SG was 1.016 and 3+ proteinuria was present. The only abnormality on CBC and serum biochemistry was hypoalbuminemia.

Urinalysis was not performed owing to financial constraints however an abdominal ultrasound prescription was approved.

A 6-year-old FS shepherd mixed dog was presented for evaluation of vomiting, anorexia, loose stool, and polydipsia that had shown some response to Cerenia, Simplicef, and Denosyl therapy.
