Pancreatic carcinoma in a 12 year old MN DSH cat

A 12-year-old neutered male DSH cat was presented for inappetence, polydipsia, and lethargy. The patient had a history of FLUTD and pancreatitis. Recent laboratory testing had shown leukocytosis and hyperlipasemia. Abdominal pain was present on abdominal palpation. Loss of abdominal detail was evident on survey abdominal radiographs.

Chronic renal disease with infarction in a 7 year old MN DSH cat

A 7 year old neutered male DSH cat was presented with a history of azotemia, polyuria, polydypsia, and weight loss. Physical examination and blood pressure were both within normal limits. The only significant abnormality on urinalysis was a subnormal specific gravity. Abnormalities on blood chemistry included azotemia and hypercalcemia.

Adrenocortical adenoma diagnosed on surgical excisional biopsy in a 12 year old MI Shih Tzu

A 12-year-old M intact Shih Tzu dog was presented for polydipsia of several months’ duration. The serum biochemical profile revealed an elevated urea, increased ALT, increased GGT enzyme activities, hyperphosphatemia, hyperkalemia, hypercholesterolemia, and elevated triglycerides. Thrombocytosis was present on the CBC.

An 11-year-old FS dog was evaluated and presented for alopecia, panting, excessive water drinking, and polyphagia. Urinalysis and CBC were both within normal limits. Abnormalities on blood chemistry were hyperproteinemia, hyperphosphatemia, elevated GGT activity, elevated BUN:creatinine ratio, and hypercalcemia.
