A 10-year-old FS American Eskimo dog was presented for stranguria, hematuria, pollajuria and just not herself. She was non responsive to therapy for UTI. Severe azotemia and moderate anemia developed. Urinalysis revealed proteinuria, elevated WBC, blood and transitional cells, and isosthenuria.

Splenic hematoma in a 11 year old MN Rhodesian Ridgeback dog
An 11 year old, MN, Rhodesian Ridgeback dog was presented for nonspecific symptoms (ADR). Abdominal mass was palpated. The dog had a subnormal temp (98.8) and pale mucus membranes. Altered CBC/Chem/UA values included leukocytosis, mild azotemia, and mild hypoglobulinemia. Radiographs demonstrated a mass effect in the right abdomen.
CYT – Multiple myeloma diagnosed by splenic FNA in a 6 year old FS DSH cat
The patient is a 6 year old FS DSH feline. Clinical exam findings were nonspecific, including dehydration, weight loss, and diarrhea. Altered CBC/Chem/UA values include neutrophilia, lymphopenia, elevated amylase, elevated BUN, hyperproteinemia, and marked hyperglobulinemia. FeCOV/Felv/FIV tests were negative.

A 6-year-old NM Boxer dog was presented for lethargy, cough, tachypnea, exercise intollerance. Physical exam revelaed a 2/6 left sided heart murmur and mild tachypnea and arrhythmia. The only abnormality on laboratory work was elevated amylase and creatinine.
Cardiac Mass in Right Auricle with Tamponade in a 10 year old Rottweiler Dog
A 10-year-old SF Rottweiler cross was presented with a history of lethargy and not doing right. On physical examination depression and polypnea was evident. Abnormalities on serum biochemistry were elevated liver enzyme activity. Cardiomegaly was present on survey radiographs. Blood pressure was normal (140).
