IBD, TCC, splenic mastocytosis in a 16 year old MN DSH cat
A 16-year-old MN DSH cat with a history of weight loss and previous inflammatory bowel disease was presented for poor appetite. Abnormalities on physical examination were dehydration, dental disease, and nasal discharge. Hematuria was present on urinalysis. Initial CBC showed leukocytosis and anemia, which remained fairly unchanged after one month of antibiotic therapy.

Intestinal stricture in a 17 year old FS DSH cat
A 17 year old spayed female DSH cat was presented for constipation, dehydration and lethargy. Abnormalities on physical examination were dehydration and generalized DJD. On abdominal palpation, movable stool and possible splenomegaly was noted. Leukocytosis was present on CBC. Serum biochemistry revealed hypoalbuminemia and hyperamylasemia. T4 was normal, but free T4 was elevated.
