Right adrenal gland mass with early phrenic vein invasion in a 13 year old MN DSH cat

A 13-year-old NM DLH with a history of diabetes mellitus was presented for evaluation of corneal changes and a pendulous large abdomen. The only abnormality on urinalysis was glycosuria. Abnormalities on serum biochemistry were elevated fructosamine (648), amylase (1507), triglycerides (402) and PSL (405).

Congenital Addison’s disease in a 5 month old M English Springer Spaniel

  History:  A 5-month-old male English springer spaniel was presented for evaluation of acute onset diarrhea and vomiting. On physical examination lethargy, dehydration, hypothermia, and bradycardia was present. Abnormalities on CBC and serum biochemistry were mild lymphocytosis and mild eosinophilia, azotemia, hyperphosphatemia, hypercalcemia, hyponatremia and hypokalemia. Urinalysis showed SG of SG-1.015, proteinuria, and glycosuria.

A 10-year-old MN Chihuahua with a history of diabetes and severe pancreatitis was presented for evaluation of PU/PD. Urinalysis showed glycosuria and proteinuria with a normal specific gravity (1.039). Abnormalities on serum biochemistry were elevated cholesterol (1257), triglycerides (2485), PSL (229), ALT (360), ALP (5307), GGT (28), BUN (36), and glucose (275).

A 12-year-old NM Schnauzer was presented for evaluation of stranguria and dribbling. Urinalysis showed normal SG (1.046) proteinuria, glycosuria, and leukouria.  Abnormalities on CBC and serum biochemistry were thrombocytosis (638) and elevated ALT (127) and ALP (865).
