Thats a great idea… Ill ping the IT guys and see how big my wallet has to be to make this happen …sometimes its a cheap tweak & sometimes its building a colliseum ya just never know with IT.

But honestly if the members helps spread the word about how much you like sonopath and the forum, the more members we have the more budget we have to do things like this…and then some… we have a solid community currently with a few hundred members spanning the globe but the more we have the more i can put into it …which of course, I love to do.

SonoPath is like maintaining a Ferrari costwise…and we are barely using it compared to its capacity with a small membership. We could have hundreds of thousands on it at once worldwide and no issue if you get the big picture. This global aspect is what we designed it and invested into it for…. sorry I digressed.. but I feel SonoPath is all of our site so I feel its important you, the members, see the big picture.

Any ideas on how to build SonoPath membership further I would love to hear on this thread.

The site itself is supported more from the other funcitons of sonopath…. telemedicine, my speakign engagements, educational products, educational seminars, our sponsorship by Cuattro, and of course my time donated to its well being and my staff pulling away form the revenue based tasks they have. But its our baby and our passion that we created so its more of a hobby part of what we do:)

I would love nothing more than to have SonoPath balance itself with membership support.I’ll look into your request for sure its a great idea.

Excellent descriiption and questions… this sort of thing helps us define where we need to focus our marketing. Its tough to know where the concepts will land… like the sonopod casts..here is our library of them ont he thread below. If you like the forum you will be addicted to the sonopod casts regarding how to interpret a sonogram. These are all sonopod casts that telemedicine clients have submitted for sonopod cast evaluation with a normal telemed report included in the cost of $135. But the videos we have archived and make available to members. I did this because I…  (classic old guy saying) wish I had this when I was growing up in ultrasound:) This is a virtual mentorship on sonographic interpretation essentially and obviously tons of hours to create the archive and record the sonopod casts.

Regarding telemedicine if you know how to offload a case in dicom preferably or even any other format all you have to do is click on the upload telemed icon on the home page, fill out the history and drag and drop the image sets. I strongly encourage everyone to use that smart phone weilding tech they have to do these things as I remember how it is as a GP and you have to offload the busy things… even a clinical search on the patients history

or even post in the forum for you… techy vettechs will love it and you save tons of time and you get out of it what you want… and they can use the sonopath app off their phone as well.
