CT – Normal nasal cavities in a 6 year old MN German Shepherd with ulcerated swelling in nares

This 6 year old German Shepherd mix has a swollen area on the inside of the right nares with some loss of pigment and mild ulceration. ALKP mildy decreased, Eos mildly increased.

CT – Primary soft tissue neoplasia in the buccal/labial region with metastatic spread in a 18 year old F DSH cat

This 18 year old F DSH cat presented for a swollen jaw, drooling, ocular discharge. Stopped eating dry food, will eat canned. CBC/Chem: ALKP 13, RBC 6.53, MCH 17.6, lymphs 0.69k/ul

RAD – Feline chronic progressive polyarthopathy in a 9 year old MN DSH cat

CT – Diffuse septic cellulitis at the base of the tongue and larynx with regional lymphadenitis in a 7 year old MN Labrador mix

This 7 year old MN Labrador mix presented with drooling, raspy respiratory sounds, decreased eating and drinking.  Physical exam swollen tongue and frenulum, ulcerated area right side of frenulum which ruptured on intubation, releasing purulent material and blood CBC/Chem: HCT 36.3, WBC 20,000, glob 4.7, chol 429

CT – Heart base tumor and intravascular expansion with CHF and compressive myelopathy in a 8 year old M mixed breed dog

This 8 year old M mixed breed dog presented with pleural effusion, facial swelling . Fluid analysis showed modified transudate. On echo a 4.5 cm suspected soft tissue mass is identified at the heart base. 

CT – Facial abscess with septic cellulitis and lymphadenitis in a 7 year old FS Beagle mix

This 7 year old FS Beagle mix presented for progressively worsening swelling around the left eye and down the right side of the face. Cuterebra removed from small puncture on left dorsal eye lid. R/O FB reaction vs cellulitis vs tumor

CT – structurally normal shoulder region in a 6 year old Bassett Hound with shoulder swelling

This 6 year old FS Bassett Hound presented with swelling in the left shoulder area, but no obvious pain elicited on manipulation of either thoracic limb prior to CT.

ORTHO – Bilateral Chronic avulsion ruptures of the calcaneal tendons in a 7 year old FS Labrador Retriever

This 7 year old FS Labrador Retriever dog presented with left hind lameness and a swollen left hock

ORTHO – Full cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) rupture with moderate degenerative joint disease (DJD) in a 3 year old MN dog
