String foreign body in a 6 year old M Miniature Schnauzer dog

Intestinal stricture in a 17 year old FS DSH cat
A 17 year old spayed female DSH cat was presented for constipation, dehydration and lethargy. Abnormalities on physical examination were dehydration and generalized DJD. On abdominal palpation, movable stool and possible splenomegaly was noted. Leukocytosis was present on CBC. Serum biochemistry revealed hypoalbuminemia and hyperamylasemia. T4 was normal, but free T4 was elevated.
Intestinal foreign body in a 12 year old MN German Shepherd Dog
A 12-year-old MN German Shepherd Dog was presented for persistent vomiting and anorexia over a 3 day period. The physical exam revealed moderate dehydration and a palpably enlarged and painful spleen. The CBC presented slight neutropenia. Blood chemistry analysis revealed only a moderately elevated amylase.
