Splenic hematoma in a 11 year old MN Rhodesian Ridgeback dog

An 11 year old, MN, Rhodesian Ridgeback dog was presented for nonspecific symptoms (ADR). Abdominal mass was palpated. The dog had a subnormal temp (98.8) and pale mucus membranes. Altered CBC/Chem/UA values included leukocytosis, mild azotemia, and mild hypoglobulinemia. Radiographs demonstrated a mass effect in the right abdomen.

Cardiac Mass in Right Auricle with Tamponade in a 10 year old Rottweiler Dog

A 10-year-old SF Rottweiler cross was presented with a history of lethargy and not doing right. On physical examination depression and polypnea was evident. Abnormalities on serum biochemistry were elevated liver enzyme activity. Cardiomegaly was present on survey radiographs. Blood pressure was normal (140).

A 3-year-old intact male Jack Russell terrier dog was presented for urinating in the house and not being right. Abnormalities on physical examination were pale mucus membranes and tense abdomen. Anemia and leukocytosis was present on CBC. On survey radiographs a retroperitoneal enlargement causing ventral displacement of the colon was evident.

A 6 year-old male Rhodesian Ridgeback with a history of IMHA and current cortisone therapy was presented for being depressed. Abnormalities on physical examination were pale pink mucosa, tachycardia, polypnea, and a distended abdomen. CBC showed leukocytosis, neutrophilia, monocytosis, and regenerative anemia.
