Duodenal Foreign Body, Moderate Lymphoplasmacytic Enteritis, in a 5 year old FS Bichon Frise dog
This 5-year-old FS Bichon Frise dog presented for 5 weeks of vomiting and diarrhea with a recent onset of lethargy. The physical exam revealed mild dehydration and focally painful abdomen. Blood analysis demonstrated mild leukocytosis with a left shift and mild hypoalbuminemia.
Colonic and omental hemangiosarcoma in an 11 year old MN DSH cat
This 11-year-old neutered male DSH cat presented for progressive partial anorexia, weight loss, vomiting, and melena. The physical exam revealed moderate dehydration, pale mucous membranes, and a palpable caudal abdominal mass. CBC demonstrated mild regenerative anemia, while the blood chemistry was normal except for moderate lipase elevation.
Intestinal Lymphoma in a 6 year old MN mixed breed dog
This 9-year-old MN mixed-breed dog was presented for anorexia, diarrhea, and weight loss. Clinical exam revealed mildly poor body condition and mild dehydration. The CBC evidenced mild leukocytosis with a left shift and moderate hypoalbuminemia on blood chemistry evaluation.
Intestinal Adenocarcinoma in a 10 year old FS Doberman Pinscher dog
This 10-year-old FS Doberman Pinscher presented for anorexia and weight loss. The physical exam was unremarkable other than mild dehydration and mild cachexia. CBC and blood chemistry analysis demonstrated mild regenerative anemia, moderate leukocytosis with a left shift, mild hypoalbuminemia and hypomagnesemia. The radiographs demonstrate mild ascites with poor organ detail.
Jejunal intussusception in a 2 year old FS DSH cat
This 2-year-old FS DSH was presented for progressive anorexia and lethargy over the previous week. Physical exam revealed a palpable mid caudal abdominal mass and moderate dehydration. CBC and blood chemistry were normal. Radiographs confirmed a soft-tissue density in the mid caudal abdomen.
Intestinal adenocarcinoma and mural abscess in a 10 year old FS Siamese cat
This 10-year-old spayed female Siamese cat presented for anorexia and mild weight loss. Mild dehydration was noted, with a palpable upper intestinal thickening on physical exam. CBC demonstrated a mild leukocytosis with a left shift. Blood chemistry was essentially normal, with only mildly elevated lipase and mildly elevated CPK.
Hepatocellular carcinoma in a 9 year old FS DLH cat
A 9-year-old FS DLH cat was presented with anorexia. Physical examination revealed mild dehydration and poor body condition. Mildly elevated SAP and mildly elevated ALT were found in the blood chemistry profile. Urinalysis was unremarkable.

CBC and blood chemistry profile revealed severe ALT and AST elevations with mild regenerative anemia, rouleaux formation, and moderate neutrophilic leukocytosis with a left shift. Urinalysis was unrevealing.
Hepatic abscess with icterus in a 14 year old MN DSH cat
A 14-year-old MN DSH cat presented for mild visible jaundice that was confirmed during the physical examination, which also revealed a poor hair coat and mild dehydration. Preliminary laboratory data revealed moderately elevated ALT and moderately elevated bilirubin levels and mildly elevated SAP and mildly elevated AST.
