Renal calculi in a 5 year old MN DMH cat

A 5-year-old male neutered DMH cat was presented for evaluation of PU/PD, abnormal behavior, and inappropriate urination (periuria). Low-normal specific gravity (1.014) was evident on urinalysis. CBC was within reference range, but serum biochemistry revealed azotemia.

A 15-year-old NM Multipoo was presented for evaluation of suspected Cushing’s disease based on a low-dose-dexamethasone suppression test. There was a history of PU/PD and polyphagia. On physical examination, alopecia and calcinosis cutis were evident. Abnormalities on serum biochemistry were elevated liver enzyme activity and non-regenerative anemia.

Adrenal mass in a 7 year old MN DSH cat

A 7-year-old NM DSH was presented for evaluation of PU/PD and weight loss. Survey radiographs showed small kidneys with mineralization and volume contracted heart. CBC and serum biochemistry showed anemia, hypoalbuminemia, hyperglobulinemia, azotemia, and hyperphosphatemia.

A 9-year-old SF English Springer Spaniel dog was presented for evaluation of worsening urinary incontinence, lethargy, polyuria, polydypsia, and an abdominal mass.

Ectopic ureter, hydronephrosis, hydroureter, and ureterocele in a 3 year old MN Labrador Retriever

A 3-year-old neutered male Labrador Retriever dog was presented for evaluation of  decreased appetite, possible polyuria and polydypsia, taking longer to urinate than normal, and hematuria. On urinalysis, isosthenuria (1.016), 3+ protein, white blood cells, and red blood cells were present. Stress leukogram was evident on CBC, but serum chemistry was within normal limits. 

Adrenal mass with caval invasion in a 7 year old FS mixed breed dog

A 7-year-old FS mixed breed dog was presented for evaluation of weight loss and PU/PD. Abnormalities on blood work were neutrophilia, mild hypoglycemia (49), hyperglobulinemia, and elevated cobalamine.

Bicavitary and pericardial effusion and lung mass in a 13 year old MN Jack Russell Terrier

A 13-year-old NM Jack Russell terrier dog was presented for evaluation of PU/PD, decreased appetite, and abdominal distension. Blood work showed mild hypoproteinemia and elevated ALT activity.

Adrenal mass with CVC invasion in a 13 year old MN DSH cat

A 13-year-old NM DSH cat was presented for evaluation of polyuria and polydypsia. The only abnormality on urinalysis was low urine specific gravity (1.015). Blood work was within normal limits. ACTH stimulation showed elevated pre and post cortisol (3.6 and 4.9 respectively).

A dog of unknown breed, gender and age, was presented for evaluation of polyuria, polydypsia, and abdominal guarding. No abnormalities were present on bloodwork.
