A 6-year-old NM French bulldog was presented for evaluation of lethargy over a 5-day period, head tilt, hunched neck, and arched back. Abnormalities on serum biochemistry were elevated ALT, AST, and ALP activity.
Prostatic carcinoma diagnosed by FNA in a 9 year old MN Shetland Sheepdog
A 9-year-old MN Shetland Sheepdog with history of clinical signs of UTI. Blood work showed progressive elevation of ALP activity and cholesterol but improved triglycerides and low T4. This 5-year-old MN Golden Retriever was presented for lethargy, walking strange, falling over, confusion, muscular twitching, and anorexia. The physical exam was normal except for mild hyperthermia. Progressive seizure activity also developed in the following days after the patient was treated for arthritic disease. CBC and survey blood chemistry were normal except for moderate hypoglycemia….
