Emphysematous hepatitis with possible mass formation and hiatal hernia of the liver lobe in a 10 year old FS Australian Shepherd
A 10-year-old SF Australian Shepherd was presented for evaluation of acute hematemesis, vomiting, diarrhea, and lethargy. Abnormalities on physical examination were lateral recumbence, dehydration, and pyrexia (106.8). Blood work showed thrombocytopenia and elevated ALT (655) activity. On survey radiographs possible mass in mid abdomen and hepatomegaly was evident.

Gastric Lymphoma in a 10 year old FS DSH cat
A 10-year-old FS DSH cat was presented for chronic hematemesis. Physical exam was unremarkable. CBC showed anemia (no reticulocyte count performed) neutrophilia, monocytosis and thrombocytopenia. Blood chemistry was within normal limits. Urinalysis had a cloudy appearance, but all results were within normal reference range, as was a T4.

Gastric Foreign Body in a 10 year old Terrier mix dog
This 10-year-old Terrier cross breed dog presented for persistent vomiting, hematemesis, and hypothermia that was not responsive to medical therapy. Blood analysis revealed a moderately elevated SAP, markedly increased BUN with mildly increased phosphorous, and moderately elevated lipase. Urine was concentrated with non reactive sediment.
