The patient presented for weight loss, occasional vomiting, not herself, lethargic. CBC revealed mild anemia and elevated thyroid values. Clinical exam revealed a palpable intestinal mass and poor body condition.

UGELAB (Laser Ablation) treatment for trigonal transitional cell carninoma of the bladder in a 10 year old FS American Eskimo dog.

A 10-year-old FS American Eskimo dog was presented for stranguria, hematuria, pollajuria and just not herself. She was non responsive to therapy for UTI. Severe azotemia and moderate anemia developed. Urinalysis revealed proteinuria, elevated WBC, blood and transitional cells, and isosthenuria.

An 11-year-old FS Standard Poodle was presented for depression and anorexia. The physical exam revealed mild palpable splenomegaly. Blood analysis revealed a moderate neutrophilia (43,000 WBC) with a left shift. Blood chemistry was normal.

Splenic plasmacytoma diagnosed by FNA in a 10 year old MN DLH cat

A 10-year-old MN DLH presented for vomiting, depression, and weakness. Clinical exam findings were uneventful. The complete blood count revealed anemia (PCV 16% – 3+ anisocytosis, 2+ polychromasia, 2+ rouleaux present), neutropenia 1659 (n 2500-8500) and lymphocytopenia 273 (n 1200-8000). Blood chemistry revealed slightly elevated total bilirubin.

Thoracic mass suggestive for lung neoplasia in a 6 year old MI Rhodesian Ridgeback dog

A 6 year-old male Rhodesian Ridgeback with a history of IMHA and current cortisone therapy was presented for being depressed. Abnormalities on physical examination were pale pink mucosa, tachycardia, polypnea, and a distended abdomen. CBC showed leukocytosis, neutrophilia, monocytosis, and regenerative anemia. Coombs test was negative.
