This 10 year old M chichuahua presented for ADR, lethargy, anorexia.

CBC/Chem: WBC 21,400, ALT 3380, ALKP 778, AMYL 1626, LIP 4425, CL low 108

Urinalysis: prot +1, ketones +1, bilirubin +4, blood +4, urobilinogen +2

Image Interpretation

The stomach and focally the small intestinal loops are mildly gas filled. The colon presents empty with mild gas filling. The intervertebral disc space L7/S1 is collapsed and moderate sclerosis of the associated vertebral endplates is noted. Moderate spondylosis formation is noted at the ventral aspect of the vertebral endplates L7/S1 and mild level T5/T6.

nonspecific abdomen

Outcome

The current radiographic study does not present a pathological finding that explain the clinical signs. The empty gastrointestinal tract only reflects the history of anorexia.
