We need an abdominal ultrasound +/- an echo?

What would typically make one investigate the chest during an abdominal ultrasound? The key factors I would think are ascites, masses, or dilated hepatic veins. Anything else that would drive you to the chest during an abdominal evaluation?

12 L images on Logic e are 41 mb each!

Posting for a fellow technician: We are using a 12 L probe for parts of our ultrasound exam and when we send our telemedicine files, the 12 L images are big files. It’s a refurbed probe, but it is in good condition. Does anyone have recommendations for setting when using this probe or a solution…
