Tricuspid Dysplasia

Sonopath Forum

  • 9 month old FN Lab cross with murmur
  • Severe right sided dilation due to suspect tricuspid dysplasia, normal pulmonic valve
  • Query is over degree of pulmonary hypertension and what do you think is driving this?
  • I have had a couple of similar cases where TR gradient is increased but should not be due to tricuspid valvular disease, any ideas?
  • Would you treat with pimobendan and sildenafil?
  • What prognosis would you give?
  • Thanks again.
