Romeo is a 11 1/2 year old Papillion that had a TCC removed from the dorsal bladder walls over 2 years ago.
I screen him every 6 months.
I believe I see a small polypoid mass off the dorsal bladder wall in the region of the previous mass. I am also not sure that I see that mass off the ventral wall as well.
I don’t see it on these cines- but I also though I saw a very tiny urolith.
I would appreciate some feedback.
Thanks

yes its there randy a polyp
yes its there randy a polyp but also in that region are the d-paps that can become polypoid especially in stone movers. I would zoom in preferably with a linear hi res probe and see if its coming off the d pap or the wall itself and if off the wall then see if only mucosal or submucosal and muscularis involvement. That latter scenario would suggest more tcc whereas just mucosal may be tcc but more likley polypid hyperplasia. Power Doppler also helps here as TCC usually are rather vascular and light up well.

Since this dog had a previous TCC I believe the owner is going to have the bladder surgically explored next week.
I referred this dog to Blue
I referred this dog to Blue Pearl that did the origianl surgery.
The US report from there did not see these lesions.
I must admit that I did not see them clearly until I viewed them
on a transverse view.
Are these just prominent papilla or am I just imagining what I am seeing.
