Pyloric hypertrophy?

Sonopath Forum

Hello,

I’m trying to understand what’s going on on this 8 year old Schnauzer M/N ( beside the pancreatitis). He came in with acute episode of vomiting. Bloodwork supports pancreatitis.

Is the pylorus abnormal or is it just me. Also there is a large structure which I think it’s part of the pancreas but I’m not sure …maybe I’m catching part of the trsv colon. I’ll post only 3 images but more available.

Thank you,

C.

IN video 2 I am seeing some

IN video 2 I am seeing some echogenic pyloric hypertrophy but no mural detail loss. I am guessing this is a chronic GI dog. Dont see any overt pancreatitis in these 3 videos. Try a helocobacter protocol and canned hydrolyzed diet for 3 weeks and rescan. Otherwise scope. These guys usually have delayed outflow issues with kibble in my experience

I understand. Was wondering

I understand. Was wondering if the pancreas was hypoechoic but if the duct is dilated probably it’s just me. Thank you again.
