Greetings everyone,
This is a female intact 10yo Boxer, with history of on&off hematuria for some weeks now. The refering vet thought it was an UTI and she was put on NSAIDs + antibiotic. The signs resolved during the treatment, but reappeared a week after.
I’ve never seen anything like this, but it seems that there is a diverticulum of the cranial bladder wall with uroliths inside. Could it be a persistent urachus?

You are getting echo dropout
You are getting echo dropout at the apex of the bladder but I think your interpretation is solidly plausible and worth surgery for partial apical cystectomy and stone removal.
I tried different positions
I tried different positions but I simply cannot get that image that confirms the connection between these structures, there is always that blur. This happened to me recently in a cranial pole adrenal tumor, there was this acoustic shadow that didn’t let me have a image contiguous to the normal caudal pole.
I suggested exploratory laparotomy and partial cistectomy. If there is any further development I will post it here.
Thanks for the reply!
Sure try scanning the same
Sure try scanning the same area with the animal standing or from the directly opposite direction.
The clips that I posted are
The clips that I posted are in the standing and dorsal recumbency positions, abd unfortunately they produce practically the same image… Bad luck I guess 🙂

Upon surgery a persistent urachus with a tiny communication to the bladder was confirmed and resected.
Case closed 🙂
