intussuception?

Sonopath Forum

Hello

I am not going to give up on intussuceptions until I get it right.

This is Rose a 6 month old Shi Tzu cross that recently had a splenoazygous shunt ligated after US, and CT. She had been doing well for 3 months post-op when she suddenly started vomiting and became lethargic.

Hello

I am not going to give up on intussuceptions until I get it right.

This is Rose a 6 month old Shi Tzu cross that recently had a splenoazygous shunt ligated after US, and CT. She had been doing well for 3 months post-op when she suddenly started vomiting and became lethargic.

We performed a complete abdominal US and found what appears to be a FB. It can be palpated and the US waves cannot penetrate. However, just upstream from the fb we found what appeared to be layering of the intestines. I tried turning the probe on it as EL had mentioned and there was no onion appearence and actually it just appeared as normal bowel and I lost the area. However I still look at the images I am posting and would like some confirmation.

Thanks so much. Didn’t plan on being the last post of 2016 and first of 2017 but the work schedule was not favourable to me! 🙂

Thanks.
