– 12 yr old MN DSH with 4 day history of anroexia
– bloodwork non-specific changes Ca mildly elevated 3.05 (2-2.95)
– u/s shows thickened colon wall with loss of normal layering at the ICJ; muscularis layer thick in ileum
– ICJ lymph nodes prominent, hypoechoic
– no other abnormalities found
– Pet is responding to medical therapy
Lyphoma likely? I think I recall that lyphoma likes the ICJ in cats?

Starting to lose mural detail… these are pyers patches going awry… fna the hypoechoic portion and the regional ln and pcr or parr iff necessary or shopping spree of bx… I wouldnt do histopathological US on this as the diffs are lsa but also complicated ibd. as well as mct and dry fip. If other organs start up in lsa patterns different story.
