GI mass, FNA?

US showed this mass.  Would FNA be a viable option here, if the O opt to pursue?  Thank you!  – Karen Ebersole

No reason not do an FNA. With

No reason not do an FNA. With the hyperechoic mesentery and leukocytosis, would be worried about peritonitis, which would be an indication for a laparatomy.

Thank you!  Yes, we are trying to decide between FNA (better gauge prognosis?) vs laparotomy vs Pred. trial.

Aside from being so, so thin, the cat is amazingly alert and active. Crazy!

Looks like intestinal lsa so fna indictaed. Note the low albumin and our new study that we presented at ecvim this year. Low albumin in cats? Scan immediately.
