This is a 11 yr old mini dauchshund that was diagnosed with cushings in august. she had history of intermittent diarrhea.she was started on vetoryl. diarrhea  perisited owner was uncomfortable so did second acth and we were still hi. explored other possibilities. chem alt 215,alkph 355,ggt 53.ultrasound revealed gall bladder disease. the dog was on baytril,metronidazole ,urosidol, low fat diet. continues to eat and be happy. i have followe d this gall bladder and i believe i have a maturing mucocoele . I would like youropinion soi can help direct this owner to surgery if needed

Double layered wall striating

Double layered wall striating debris and overdistention… not inflamed but yes GBM. These can stay stable for some time but are usually subclinical or mildly clinical and when removed they have an energetic dog. GB motility study helps here but I would remove it in my dog.
