Intestinal stricture in a 17 year old FS DSH cat
A 17 year old spayed female DSH cat was presented for constipation, dehydration and lethargy. Abnormalities on physical examination were dehydration and generalized DJD. On abdominal palpation, movable stool and possible splenomegaly was noted. Leukocytosis was present on CBC. Serum biochemistry revealed hypoalbuminemia and hyperamylasemia. T4 was normal, but free T4 was elevated.
