This 10 year old MN Cairn Terrier dog presented with some vomiting and diarrhea and a history of subcutaneous MCT removed 6 months prior, that has returned in that area.
A left adrenal mass was noted with capsular expansion, measuring 5.6 cm x 3.7 cm. The left adrenal mass adhered against the aorta and wrapped around the left renal artery. It would be extensively difficult to resect. The vena cava appears clean. However, the aorta and left renal artery are enveloped by the mass.
The spleen revealed a focal hypoechoic expansive nodule, measuring 1.5 cm x 1.2 cm at the caudal pole. The spleen presented other micronodular changes. Splenic thrombus noted within the splenic parenchyma of the main splenic vein, expanded approximately 1.0 cm. Slight areas of free fluid were noted adjacent to the spleen.
