The liver in this patient was riddled with expansive, hypoechoic nodular masses. The coalescence of the masses measured 6.6 cm. The mass impinged cranially upon the heart. Surrounding nodular, irregular, hepatic contour was noted. Ascites was noted in the caudal abdomen. Ultrasound-guided FNA of the liver masses would be ideally for further definition.
Secondary ascites owing to portal hypertension, paraneoplastic syndrome. Poor
prognosis. FNA is recommended for further definition.
