Sonographic Differential Diagnosis

Fabric type gastrointestinal foreign body.

Examination of the gastrointestinal tract revealed a 3.0 cm, pyloric foreign body that continued into the small intestine. It appeared to continue distally to the ileocecal valve into the transverse and descending colon. This is consistent with a fabric type foreign body.
