Pancreatic mass with reactive omentum.
Free fluid, strongly suggestive for pancreatic carcinoma, carcinomatosis, possible pancreatic necrosis and secondary free fluid owing to inflammation. FNA of the mass would be recommended as well as abdominocentesis and cytospin with culture. Guarded to poor prognosis.
The cranial abdomen presented a cystic mass that measured 4.0 cm. This appears to be deriving from the pancreas. The pancreatic duct was dilated. Coarse architecture was noted. Coalesced fluid was noted within the pancreatic mass itself. Free fluid was noted in the mid caudal abdomen. Reactive omentum was noted throughout the abdomen.
